Spanish Language Only Programs

This program is designed to help students achieve their goals in learning Spanish efficiently.  It uses the same materials as our Immersion Programs.  The Language Only Program consists solely of classes and does not include accommodations, meals, or extracurricular activities.

Students of this program will be able to express themselves in Spanish, understand text, and conversation on different subjects and develop coherent and well-structured arguments.  They will also gain a deeper understanding of the Hispanic world and its cultures.

Same program as both Immersion Programs, except the Language Only Programs do not include homestay nor the afternoon activities.

For those students who prefer to stay in a hotel or AirBnB, we can arrange nearby accommodations within your budget.

Super Language Only:

Same as Language Only, except is six hours of class each day.

Classes Monday through Friday.

How much does the Language Only Program cost?

The cost of one week is $539 and we offer a multiple week discount.     

Add $250 per week for Super Immersion, six hours of class each day.

The Language Only Program are divided into seven modules:

Beginning Level I

• No previous Spanish knowledge

Beginning Level II

• Very basic skills

Intermediate I

• Able to use present, past and future tenses with an extended vocabulary

Intermediate II

• Able to use imperfect, conditional and compound tenses, with a comfortable level of comprehension

Advanced I

• Proven comprehension and sufficient oral skills to communicate ideas in most situations. A good understanding and use of the indicative mood

Advanced II

• Some knowledge of the subjunctive mood, enhanced oral and comprehensive skills, and an expanded vocabulary

High Advanced

• Possess advanced communication skills and the ability to use both the indicative and subjunctive moods with relative comfort

METHODOLOGY:

Our Spanish classes focus on addressing the personal needs of the student. The 2 to 1 student teacher ratio has proven to expedite the learning process. Our teaching approach is dynamic and while grammar is an essential part of the learning process, building conversational skills is absolute foremost. Students are placed according to their level and abilities with a written and oral test.
