The Beach Program is for those students who enjoy being at the beach, combining vacation with classes.  Samara Beach is 37 kms from our main school in Nicoya. Our Samara Beach Program is taught using the same methods as our main school in Nicoya. Conversation skills building is the priority.

What does the Beach Program include?

Our Beach Program includes classes, either four or six hours per day, and all course materials.   Classes are Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00 a.m. each day.

Playa Samara is a long, beautiful beach, considered one of the safest of Costa Rica because of the coral reef that protects it and makes it an ideal place for diving and enjoying all water sports. Samara Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag -- a recognition of a clean beach and clean water. Lonely Planet says: "One of the safest and prettiest beaches in the country is Playa Samara"

Samara offers a relaxed atmosphere where you’ll have morning classes at your hotel or AirBnB, and then you can enjoy all the beach activities Samara offers.

Many students start their Spanish program in Nicoya, and then finish the last week or two in Samara.  This option allows you to enjoy the historical and cultural town of Nicoya, then finishing in the resort town of Samara Beach.

What can I do in Samara?

Samara offers wonderful restaurants, shops and nightlife, in addition to tours ranging from seeing nesting turtles, dolphin trips, surf lessons, horseback riding, snorkeling & kayaking.

Where can I stay in Samara?

Students arrange and pay directly the hotel or AirBnB of their choice for their accommodations, and we will teach you at your hotel or AirBnB.   If you need assistance in finding accommodations, just let us know, and we will be happy to assist you.
